“We dedicate this book to children, and the child in us all, who illustrate our world with words.”

Oscar Pérez Cotto was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ;
he also lived in Puerto Rico during some of his teenage years.
Oscar’s drawing style in this book has been described as primitive naïve;
he attended College in NYC for Visual Communications then in NJ for Electronics while serving in the military (Army) for 7 years.
However, art has always been a passion and a creative outlet for him, along
with music and technology. He continues to be a resident of
New Jersey and lives with his wife, and twins ~ Dailen and
Delani. He dedicates his drawings to his children who motivate
him to capture nature in drawings. Oscar is proud of his
roots, feels blessed to have had a strong mother who shaped
him, and enjoys spending time with his family.
